yesterdays filming

Firstly, a good piece of advice. If you don't get the shot first time round, go do it again. Theres plenty of time, and if you notice the fact it looks **** on camera, so will other people.

Second, yes lots of things have gone wrong [img]tongue.gif[/img] The usual **** such as actors not turning up, camera battieres dying etc the more interesting stuff such as explosions not going to plan, and more lately, travlling 60 miles to get a Canon DMXM2 and then not being able to get one. (But we did today).

I can't think of anything off the top of my head, cos i'm knackered, but things always go wrong! Just have a laugh over it and go shoot it again [img]smile.gif[/img]

Im filming a scene from a horror film at the moment and yesterday we planned to film a shot where there is a trail of blood and guts going through the woods.
So before filming some of us head down to the butchers and ask if they have anything we can have to create the gore, but cos its a friday they had already it all out that morning. So all they had left was these bits of beef and lamb on the bone so we took them.

So rather than a really gory trail of blood and guts going through the woods we have this small little pile of like frozen lamb chops. It looked really bad. And to make matters worse this isnt just one short shot... the idea was to keep cutting back to this trail of blood in time with a heart beating. Which ill no doubt have to change now [img]graemlins/cry.gif[/img]

Anyone else got any stories of things gone wrong?
